A Field Study to "Aliments" Retailer

Updated: May 21, 2021

On October 6th, 2017 a group of students studying the Sales Operation and Retailing Management (MKT403) course from The Tony Fernandes School of Business (TFSB) at The University of Cambodia (UC) had a field study to the Aliments, a healthy and organic retailer. The students are undergraduate at 3rd and 4th years from different majors including Business Management, International Business, Marketing, Accounting, Finance and Banking, and Hospitality and Tourism Management. They are really curious, energetic, and hungry to learn a new thing to order to prepare themselves more competitive at next real workplace.

It was fun, excited, and real with Aliments. Wow! that's was such a great experience as a student life to explore outside the class.

Fun on a Way to Aliments

Thank Miss Eng Samphors, Executive Director, for allowing the TFSB students to physically visit and observe the store and get sharing the practical experiences in managing Aliments.

Aliments was started in July 2016 and now not yet two years. However, it looks healthy and is expected to grow and sustain through a talent management and the compelling vision and missions to go extra miles and stay years like many Japanese companies.

You can buy a variety of healthy and organic products such as vegetables, fruits, meats, and other food products, which most are locally produced. Its target customers are middle and upper incomes both local and foreign, who are able to afford little higher price than the traditional market's one but exchange for health, health, and health.

It's time to care about health. Visit the Aliments (www.aliments.biz) at #200, St. 155 (adjacent with St. 464), Sangkat Toul Tompong I, Khan Chamkamon, Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia.

Last as a part-time lecturer, I'd like to thank and appreciate Ms. Gina V. Lopez (Dean of TFSB), her assistant Mr. Sim Soknov, UC admin, and a friendly van driver to coordinate and make it happen.
