Buyloy was the winner of “People Choice 2019” in Cambodia Rice Bowl Startup Award arranged by ASEAN Startup Awards, a regional competition that recognizes and celebrates the best startups in Southeast Asia. The awards are part of the ASEAN Startup Awards, which covers 10 countries within ASEAN.
The awards ceremony was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on January 15 & 16th, 2020. Buyloy's co-founder and GM, Mr. Plang Phalla, attended the event and represented his startup on stage.
Although Buyloy did not win the award, Mr. Phalla said that he was proud of his team's achievements and grateful for the opportunity to showcase their work to a regional audience. He also expressed his appreciation for the support and feedback from his customers and partners.
Buyloy is an online shopping platform that offers a wide range of products, from books and electronics to clothes and accessories, in Cambodia. Founded in 2018 by a team of young entrepreneurs, Buyloy aims to provide a convenient, secure and affordable shopping experience for its customers.
