The Asian Institute of Technology Alumni Association (AITAA) is a network of graduates from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), a leading international institution of higher learning in Thailand. The AITAA aims to promote the interests and welfare of AIT and its alumni, foster cooperation and friendship among them, and contribute to the social and economic development of Asia and the world.
From 4 to 7 November 2016, the AITAA held its 45th Governing Board Meeting in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The meeting was attended by more than 20 representatives from different countries, including Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Korea, etc.
The meeting was hosted by the AITAA Cambodia Chapter, which organized various activities for the participants. These included a welcome dinner with cultural performances, a visit to the Angkor Wat temple complex, a world heritage site and one of the most stunning architectural wonders of the world, a welcoming dinner and a sightseeing tour of Siem Reap city.
The meeting discussed various issues related to the AITAA's vision, mission, objectives and activities. The participants also shared their experiences and achievements as AIT alumni and their contributions to their respective fields and communities.
The meeting was a success in strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation among the AIT alumni and enhancing their engagement with AIT. The meeting also showcased the beauty and culture of Cambodia and its people. The participants expressed their gratitude to the AITAA Cambodia Chapter for their warm hospitality and excellent arrangements.
